PITB organizes Pinktober awareness session

LAHORE, Oct 07 (APP): The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), in collaboration with Chughtai Lab, organized a medical camp and awareness session to mark ‘Pinktober’ and promote breast cancer awareness and employee wellbeing at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP).
The awareness session was led by Dr. Zobia, Medical Officer at General Hospital and Chughtai Lab representative, who briefed participants on breast cancer, with a focus on early detection, screening and preventive measures.
The medical camp offered a 50 percent discount on Vitamin D and mammogram tests, while a 25 percent discount on pathology tests was available to PITB and Arfa Software Technology Park employees and their families. Scores of employees availed the opportunity.
The activity was organized by PITB’s Communication and Coordination (C&C) Wing with the support of the HR Wing, Admin Wing and Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP).
The activity was held under ‘PITB Connect 360’, an initiative of the C&C Wing aimed at helping employees excel in an AI-driven, digital-first workplace while maintaining mental balance, workplace safety and online security.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that the health, wellbeing and professional development of employees are the foundation of a strong organization. He added that through such initiatives, PITB is promoting health awareness among employees while fostering a safe, balanced and positive workplace environment.
