The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Friday on several feeders due to ongoing development works being carried out by the district administration.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Friday on several feeders due to ongoing development works being carried out by the district administration.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in parts of Islamabad City Circle from 07:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Service road, Sohan, Highway, Zia Masjid, Iqbal Town, feeders.
In Rawalpindi City Circle power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Fazaia, feeder. In Attock Circle electricity will remain suspended from 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Col Sher Khan, feeder.
IESCO management apologized to its valued consumers for this temporary interruption in electricity supply. The sole purpose of these shutdowns was to facilitate the timely completion of development projects included construction of flyovers , underpasses, installation of new 11kV feeders, road widening and other related development activities. For the convenience of consumers, temporary electricity shutdown schedules were also uploaded on IESCO’s official website, www.iesco.com.pk, and its official social media platforms, including Facebook (IESCO Updates) and Twitter/X (IESCO Official Pk).
