DRAP launches Sindhi video on medicines’ adverse reporting

ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (APP):The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has developed an animated video in Sindhi to educate patients and healthcare professionals about reporting suspected adverse events associated with medicines.
According to official sources, the video, developed by the National Pharmacovigilance Centre (NPC), DRAP, explains different channels through which adverse events can be reported to the Provincial Pharmacovigilance Centre in Sindh and the National Pharmacovigilance Centre.
DRAP encouraged patients and healthcare professionals to report any suspected adverse effects of medicines, saying adverse event reporting was an important component of pharmacovigilance and helped strengthen medicine safety.
The initiative aims to improve public awareness about pharmacovigilance and make adverse event reporting more accessible to Sindhi-speaking communities.
DRAP urged the public and healthcare professionals to watch the video, learn about the reporting process and play their role in making medicines safer for everyone.
