Bahraini foreign minister due in Islamabad today for two-day visit

ISLAMABAD, Oct 7 (APP): Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani is scheduled to arrive here today for a two-day official visit to Pakistan, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar and Foreign Minister Al Zayani will co-chair the 3rd Session of the Pakistan–Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC), according to a Foreign Office statement.
The two sides will review the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and discuss ways to further strengthen cooperation across diverse areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, economic cooperation, defence and security, labour and manpower, and cultural exchanges.
The two sides will also exchange views on regional and international developments of mutual interest and cooperation at multilateral forums.
Pakistan and Bahrain enjoy close, brotherly relations founded on shared faith, common values, mutual respect, and longstanding people-to-people links. The two countries maintain regular high-level exchanges and close cooperation across a wide range of areas.
