LHC drops inquiries against seven D&SJs

LAHORE, Oct 06 (APP):The Lahore High Court (LHC) has closed disciplinary inquiries against seven district and sessions judges (D&SJs), clearing them of the allegations levelled against them.
The chief justice and members of the LHC Administrative Committee approved the decision to drop the inquiries against all seven judges.
The high court has formally issued a notification confirming the decision on Tuesday. The notification was issued by the LHC Registrar with the approval of Chief Justice Aalia Neelum.
The judges cleared of the allegations include District and Sessions Judges Muhammad Sajid Ali, Abid Hussain, Javed Iqbal Sheikh, Muhammad Bilal Baig, Atiqur Rehman, Manzar Ali and Nasir Hussain.
The inquiries against all seven judges have accordingly been dropped.
