An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi until November 6 in several cases, including the Jinnah House and Askari Tower attack cases.

LAHORE, Oct 06 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi until November 6 in several cases, including the Jinnah House and Askari Tower attack cases.
ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill conducted the proceedings. The court was provided with Qureshi’s jail warrant papers and subsequently extended his interim bail in the cases until November 6.
The court directed the lawyers to present their arguments on Qureshi’s interim bail at the next hearing.
Qureshi has sought pre-arrest bail in cases related to the Jinnah House and Askari Tower attacks, as well as the burning of a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz office and a container at Kalma Chowk, among other cases registered in connection with the May 9 violence.
His earlier interim bail petitions had lapsed following his arrest. However, the Lahore High Court subsequently restored the interim bail relief, following which the ATC extended the bail in the cases.
