FDA directed to redress public complaints within stipulated time

Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Additional Director General (ADG) Qaiser Abbas Rind on Tuesday directed the FDA officers and officials to take appropriate measures for redressing public complaints within stipulated timeframe. 

FAISALABAD, Oct 06 (APP): Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Additional Director General (ADG) Qaiser Abbas Rind on Tuesday directed the FDA officers and officials to take appropriate measures for redressing public complaints within stipulated timeframe.
Chairing a meeting, he reviewed departmental affairs and the performance of various sections including progress on departmental action taken on applications received through “One Window Counter”, “e-Khidmat Markaz”, “e-Biz” Punjab Portal and other channels.
He directed the FDA officers and concerned staff to complete action on the applications received from citizens within the stipulated timeframe and avoid from unnecessary delays at all costs. He said that instead of keeping applications pending without justification, practical measures should be taken to dispose of them promptly in accordance with the rules and regulations.
He further directed that applications received through the One Window Counter, e-Khidmat Markaz and e-Biz Punjab Portal should be regularly monitored and the progress of every application should be updated in the relevant record in a timely manner.
The officers should personally supervise the disposal process in their respective departments so that timely relief and facilities could be ensured for citizens, he added.
Qaiser Abbas Rind said that modern technology was being extensively utilized to make service delivery at FDA more effective, transparent and citizen-friendly.
He said that the purpose of receiving and monitoring applications through online portals and digital platforms was to provide citizens with easy, speedy and transparent services.
He directed the officers to accord top priority not only to improving departmental performance but also to resolving citizens’ complaints and applications, and emphasized that negligence or unnecessary delay at any level would not be tolerated.
FDA officers from various departments including Junaid Hassan Manj, Asma Mohsin, Asim Mahmood, Yasar Ejaz Chattha, Adnan Shehzad, Afzal Ansari, Abdullah Noor, Usman Ramey, Khushnood Ahmed and Muhammad Bilal attended the meeting.
