RAWALPINDI, Oct 06 (APP): The Special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi adjourned the hearing of a case involving rioting outside Adaila Jail and interference in state affairs until, October 20, following the absence of defense counsel representing key accused.
During court proceedings on Tuesday, prosecution lawyers and nominated accused Chaudhry Nazir appeared before the bench.
However, defense counsel submitted one-day exemption applications for accused Nadia Khattak, Asif Iqbal, Asad Abbas and Tayyaba Raja, which were accepted by the court before postponing further trial proceedings to October 20.
