Balochistan Police have reported significant achievements in their ongoing province-wide crackdown against criminal elements, arresting hundreds of suspects and recovering large quantities of weapons and narcotics.

QUETTA, Oct 06 (APP): Balochistan Police have reported significant achievements in their ongoing province-wide crackdown against criminal elements, arresting hundreds of suspects and recovering large quantities of weapons and narcotics.
According to official figures, a total of 838 suspects were taken into custody in recent operations. These include 80 proclaimed offenders and 306 absconders apprehended over the past three weeks. Police also detained 452 individuals involved in various crimes and successfully recovered eight abductees during rescue operations.
In separate actions, law enforcement seized a substantial cache of arms, arresting 135 suspects and recovering 122 pistols, four Kalashnikovs, and eight rifles. The campaign against narcotics resulted in the arrest of 94 drug peddlers, with more than 90 kilograms of hashish and 12 kilograms of crystal meth (ice) confiscated.
Police also recovered three stolen vehicles, 20 motorcycles, and 12 mobile phones. Additionally, tinted glasses were removed from 2,510 vehicles as part of measures to enforce traffic regulations and enhance public safety.
A spokesperson for Balochistan Police reaffirmed that the crackdown against lawbreakers will continue without interruption under the province’s zero-tolerance policy against crime. He emphasized that public safety and peace remain the foremost priorities, with instructions issued for the timely and transparent redressal of citizens’ complaints.
The spokesperson added that the campaign will be further intensified to ensure law and order across the province, reflecting the police’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and community protection.
