Finance minister visits B-TEVTA Head Office, directs to provide technical education to youth

Balochistan Minister for Finance Mir Shoaib Nosherwani visited the head office of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA) on Tuesday. 

QUETTA, Oct 06 (APP): Balochistan Minister for Finance Mir Shoaib Nosherwani visited the head office of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA) on Tuesday.
 He chaired a detailed meeting with Managing Director Abdul Kabeer Zarkoon. Dr. Noor Mohammad, Head of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Unit, along with B-TEVTA directors and other senior officials, was also present.
During the meeting, the Provincial Minister was given a detailed briefing on B-TEVTA’s current performance, ongoing technical and vocational training programs across the province, and future strategic plans. Both sides reached a complete consensus on making the Technical Training Center (TTC) Kharan fully operational and introducing new skill trades aligned with local requirements.
Speaking at the occasion, Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani stated that Chief Minister Balochistan has issued clear directives to equip the youth of the province with modern, high-quality technical education to create meaningful employment opportunities.
He added that to promote self-employment among the youth of Kharan, an entrepreneurship initiative alongside a “Qarz-e-Hasna” (interest-free loan) scheme would be introduced, enabling trained youth to establish their own dignified livelihoods.
Managing Director B-TEVTA Abdul Kabeer Zarkoon briefed the Finance Minister on the authority’s upcoming projects.
He assured that modern, market-driven training programs would be introduced in the near future to better align local skill sets with domestic and international employment demands.
