PESHAWAR, Oct 06 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday expressed profound grief over the martyrdom of five police and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) personnel in separate terrorist attacks in Dera Ismail Khan and sought a report on the incidents from the relevant authorities.
The Governor extended heartfelt condolences to the families and colleagues of the four FBR personnel martyred near Abhaya Bridge and a traffic police official who embraced martyrdom on Bannu Road.
He said the martyred personnel had rendered the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and their services for the protection of the country would always be remembered.
Governor Kundi prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and for courage and patience for the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss.
