ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (APP):Prof Dr Brig (Retd) Azmat Hayat, Professor of Electrophysiology at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), has been assigned additional charge of Joint Executive Director (BPS-20/Medical) of the institute.
According to a notification issued with the approval of the competent authority, Secretary, Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Dr Azmat Hayat will hold the additional charge for three months or until the availability of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
He will perform the additional responsibilities in addition to his existing duties as Professor of Electrophysiology at PIMS.
The notification said the additional charge has been assigned to ensure continuity of administrative and medical affairs at the institute until a regular appointment is made.
