Commissioner reviews arrangements for CM Pb ‘Youth Games 2026’

SARGODHA, Oct 05 (APP): Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Monday chaired a meeting of the Divisional Organizing Committee to review arrangements for the Chief Minister Punjab Youth Games 2026.

The meeting, held at the Commissioner’s Office committee room, reviewed various phases of the Youth Games, administrative matters and arrangements required for conducting different sporting events.

Additional Commissioner Coordination, Divisional Sports Officer, Director Education Colleges, Director School Education, representative of Regional Police Officer (RPO), District Education Officer Literacy, Divisional Emergency Officer, representative of Skills Development Department/TEVTA, Director Labour, representative of Sports Associations and other concerned officers attended the meeting.

Hafiz Shaukat Ali directed all concerned departments to work in close coordination for the successful conduct of the Youth Games and ensure a conducive environment, quality facilities and necessary support for participating athletes.

He said engaging youth in positive and healthy activities was among the priorities of the Punjab government. Promotion of sports helped develop teamwork, discipline, tolerance and leadership skills among young people.

The commissioner directed the concerned officers to prepare a comprehensive plan covering sports venues, facilities for athletes, security, traffic management, medical assistance, rescue arrangements and other necessary matters to ensure transparent, well-organized and successful conduct of the Youth Games.
