Governor attends funeral prayer of Syed Kashif Umar martyred in Somalia
KARACHI, Oct 05 (APP):The Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi attended the funeral prayer of Syed Kashif Umar, who was martyred at the hands of pirates in Somalia, at Jamia Masjid Ghaus-ul-Azam.
He prayed for the forgiveness and elevation of the ranks of the deceased. He also met the bereaved family and expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy. He met the martyr’s father and son and conveyed his deep sorrow over their loss, assuring them of his support during this difficult time.
The Governor Sindh stated that the martyrdom of Pakistani citizens in Somalia was an extremely tragic and painful incident. He said that the entire nation shared the grief of the bereaved families of the martyrs.
Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi prayed for patience and strength for the bereaved family and for the forgiveness and elevation of the martyr’s ranks.
