QUETTA, Oct 05 (APP): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Musakhel Abdul Razzaq Khajak on Monday said that a teacher is the architect of society and the true builder of the nation’s future, beyond imparting knowledge and awareness to the new generation, they play a pivotal role in shaping their character and moral values.
He said this while addressing at a ceremony held to mark Teachers’ Day in the district.
He remarked that, thanks to the hard work, sincerity, and guidance of teachers, students achieve success in various walks of life and go on to serve the country and the nation.
He noted that a teacher would not merely impart bookish knowledge to students but equips them to face life’s challenges, make sound decisions, and become responsible citizens of society.
The Deputy Commissioner added that the progress and prosperity of nations are directly linked to quality education, and teachers play a fundamental role in delivering such education.
He emphasized that it is the shared responsibility of the government and society to accord respect and honor to teachers while ensuring the provision of a conducive educational environment and necessary facilities.
He explained that respecting a teacher is, in essence, respecting knowledge, education, and the future, therefore, it is the responsibility of us all to value the services of teachers and respect their status and standing.
