MALAKAND, Oct 5 (APP): Prof Dr Muhammad Idrees, Professor at the National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab, Lahore, has been appointed Vice Chancellor of the University of Malakand for a four-year term.
In this regard on Monday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department issued the official notification following approval by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Prof Dr Muhammad Idrees hails from Tazagram village of Adenzai, Lower Dir, and has extensive academic and administrative experience in higher education and research.
The University of Malakand welcomed the appointment and expressed hope that his leadership would contribute to further strengthening academic excellence, research, innovation and institutional development at the university.
