Japan announces logo competition for 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties with Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (APP):Japan has announced a digital logo design competition to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Pakistan in 2027.
The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan said on Monday that citizens of Japan and Pakistan were being invited to participate in the competition aimed at creating an original logo reflecting the friendship, partnership and close ties between the two countries.
The winning design will be adopted as the official logo for the 75th anniversary and used for events and activities to be held throughout 2027 to mark the milestone.
Participants of any age residing anywhere in the world can submit an original logo design representing the 75th anniversary. The deadline for submission is October 23, while the result is expected to be announced on the website of Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs around late December 2026.
The Embassy said digital logo designs in JPEG, PDF, or EPS format should be submitted by email with the subject line “Logo Entry” to the Southwest Asian Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]).
Each entry should also include a separate explanation of the design of approximately 80 words.
The submitted design must be original, previously unpublished and should not infringe upon any third-party copyright, the Embassy said.
It added that designs containing offensive, unlawful, politically or religiously promotional, culturally or socially insensitive, commercial or otherwise inappropriate content would be disqualified.
The use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in logo designs is not permitted.
