Second Hajj installment collection begins

ISLAMABAD, Oct 5 (APP):The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony on Monday started collecting the second installment of Hajj dues from pilgrims selected under the Government Hajj Scheme 2027.
According to the ministry, successful applicants can deposit the second installment from October 5 to October 20.
The ministry said the payment process has been fully digitized, enabling pilgrims to deposit their dues through the Pak Hajj App and Digital Hajj Portal.
The spokesperson said uploading a certified medical fitness certificate has been made mandatory before payment of the second installment.
Pilgrims will be eligible to deposit the dues only after uploading the certificate on the Pak Hajj App or Digital Hajj Portal.
The spokesperson said the facility to modify or change Hajj packages had also been closed.
The ministry has set October 20 as the final date for payment of the second installment.
Failure to deposit the dues by the deadline would result in automatic cancellation of the Hajj application, while the amount already deposited would be refunded to the applicant’s account.
