The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday adjourned the hearing of a petition against the alleged tampering of recruitment results at the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) until October 7.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday adjourned the hearing of a petition against the alleged tampering of recruitment results at the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) until October 7.
The petition was filed by Ahmed Mujtaba, a candidate for the post of Assistant Director.
During the hearing, the record of recruitment at PIPS was not produced despite a court order.
The counsel for the parties, Shehzad Shawkat, again failed to appear. It was informed that Shehzad Shawkat is in Lahore and cannot appear today, and a request was made to adjourn the hearing on behalf of the co-counsel.
The court has already sought the recruitment record from PIPS.
Petitioner Ahmed Mujtaba appeared before the court in person.
The petitioner requested the immediate suspension of the operation of the altered results of November 4, 2025.
He also sought suspension of the appointment, salary, and performance of duties of Respondent No. 5 as Assistant Director PDP.
The petitioner requested that the recruitment record be preserved and protected from any alteration or deletion.
He sought preservation of OTS systems, audit logs, original results, and interview mark sheets.
He requested the appointment of an independent forensic expert to investigate the alleged tampering in OTS systems and data.
He sought a halt to further recruitment against vacant posts until the final decision on the petition.
He requested that the recruitment record, selection committee minutes, and consolidated merit details be produced before the court.
The court adjourned the hearing until October 7.
