RAWALPINDI, Oct 05 (APP): The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has finalized all administrative, logistical and monitoring arrangements to conduct the Matric Second Annual Examination 2026 starting October 6, establishing 45 examination centers across the division while enforcing a zero-tolerance policy against academic malpractice.
In line with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Visible Transparency” initiative, the Chairman board Prof. Dr. Iqbal Mahmood confirmed that the 45 examination facilities comprise 16 centers for male candidates, 13 for female candidates, 15 combined centers, and one center established inside Rawalpindi Jail.
CCTV cameras have been installed across all designated halls, complemented by real-time digital surveillance operated from the board’s central Command and Control Center, with specialized focus on hard and high-risk exam centers.
Emphasizing that strict legal action will be taken against individuals or groups attempting to undermine examination integrity, Chairman Mahmood instructed supervisory staff to maintain absolute impartiality and provide a secure, conducive atmosphere for all appearing candidates.
According to Board Spokesman Arslan Ali Cheema, special mobile inspection teams have been mobilized to conduct daily surprise audits to verify staff compliance, prevent unauthorized materials, and protect student merit.
