ABBOTTABAD, Oct 05 (APP):SSP Traffic Muhammad Salman Khan on Monday visited the Traffic Command and Control Room and Pehchan Office and reviewed arrangements for traffic monitoring and technology-based public services.
During his visit to the Command and Control Room, the SSP met officers and personnel and received a detailed briefing on CCTV cameras installed across the city, helpline 1915, the traffic wireless system and traffic control mechanisms.
He also reviewed measures aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow, effective monitoring and timely response to public complaints and directed officials to further improve traffic management and monitoring.
Muhammad Salman Khan stressed that officers and personnel should perform their duties with responsibility and professionalism and ensure prompt resolution of public complaints.
Later, the SSP Traffic visited the Pehchan Office, where he was briefed on the Pehchan app and QR code verification system. He reviewed the performance of the system and directed the concerned staff to further improve the provision of secure, modern and technology-based facilities to citizens.
