KP govt appoints vice chancellors to seven public sector universities

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has formally notified the appointment of vice chancellors to seven public sector universities across the province.

PESHAWAR, Oct 05 (APP):The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has formally notified the appointment of vice chancellors to seven public sector universities across the province.
The appointments were notified after the approval of Chief Minister, in his capacity as Chancellor of KP Universities.
According to the notifications, all the vice chancellors have been appointed for an initial two-year term, extendable by another two years, making the total tenure four years, subject to applicable conditions.
Prof Dr Iqbal Munir has been appointed VC of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Sheringal, Upper Dir, while Dr Imran Khan will head The University of Agriculture, Peshawar.
Prof Dr Husnul Amin has been appointed VC of the University of Swat, Charbagh, and Prof Dr Muhammad Idris will serve as Vice Chancellor of the University of Malakand, Chakdara.
Prof Dr Muhammad Naseemullah Qureshi has been appointed VC of the University of Swabi, while Prof Dr Sajid Rashid Ahmad will head The University of Haripur.
Prof Dr Abdul Jalil Khan has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar.
