KPRA resumes enforcement drive in Peshawar
PESHAWAR, Oct 05 (APP):On the directives of the Director General (DG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) Miss Irum Naz and of the Additional Collector Peshawar Abdul Raziq Khan, KPRA Central Region has re-initiated surprise visits and spot checking of restaurants across Peshawar.
The enforcement teams comprising Assistant Collector Shahnawaz Hassan Assistant Collector Muhammad Younas Khan, Inspector Mian Muhammad Atif and Inspector Inayatullah Khan are conducting on-ground verification of invoices, RIMS data, POS machines, and card-payment transactions to ensure strict compliance with the applicable tax laws.
The enforcement drive will continue throughout the weekend and surprise checks will be carried out at different restaurants without prior notice.
KPRA has requested citizen to immediately report any restaurant that refuses to accept card payments and insists on cash payment.
KPRA Enforcement teams will take strict action against non-compliant restaurants in accordance with law.
