KARACHI, Oct 05 (APP):Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah in their separate messages have paid tribute to teachers on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, highlighting their vital role in the intellectual and moral development of society.
In their separate messages on Monday, they said that teachers play a fundamental role in the intellectual and moral upbringing of any society.
They said that teachers were the architects of the nation’s future and an important source of guidance for the younger generation.
The Governor and the Chief Minister said that a good teacher does not merely impart knowledge but also helps shape the personality and character of students.
They noted that the services of teachers in promoting education and ensuring the better development of the younger generation were unforgettable.
The Governor said, “We must give our teachers their rightful status and accord them due respect and honour.
He stressed that special attention to the welfare and professional training of teachers was the need of the hour.
He observed that in the era of artificial intelligence and modern technology, the role of teachers had become even more important.
The Governor said that a strong education system and capable teachers can help Pakistan become a developed country.
The Chief Minister said that World Teachers’ Day provided an opportunity to remember the services of teachers and renew the commitment to respecting and honouring them.
