CM Maryam pays tribute to teachers on World Teachers’ Day

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday paid tribute to teachers for their invaluable services in educating and grooming the younger generation.

LAHORE, Oct 05 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday paid tribute to teachers for their invaluable services in educating and grooming the younger generation.
In her message on World Teachers’ Day, the Chief Minister paid millions of salutations to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), the greatest teacher of humanity, and extended her heartfelt greetings and profound respect to all teachers, including her own esteemed teachers.
“I pay my respects to all teachers, including my revered teachers,” she said, adding that she deeply appreciated the sincerity, hard work and dedication of millions of teachers across Punjab.
CM Maryam Nawaz said that the status and dignity of a teacher were everlasting, adding that the respect and reverence she had for her own devoted teachers remained intact even today.
“Teachers are the most respected segment of society, and it is the teacher who leads a student from the ground to the heights of success,” she added.
Highlighting government initiatives, the CM said that the Punjab government was introducing various programmes across the province for the promotion of quality education, including the Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence programme.
She stated that Primary Education AI was also being introduced to acquaint students with modern sciences and arts.
The Chief Minister further said that free training was being provided to teachers to equip them with English-speaking skills, information technology and modern teaching methodologies, reiterating the government’s commitment to providing quality education and creating better learning opportunities for students across the province.
