ISLAMABAD, Oct 03 (APP):District Health Officer (DHO) Islamabad, Dr Syeda Rashida Batool, emphasized early recognition, timely triage and standardized clinical management of dengue to prevent complications and save lives.
She made the remarks while attending an ongoing two-day refresher training on Clinical Management of Dengue at the WHO Country Office, Islamabad, where she interacted with participating healthcare providers.
The training, organized in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), aims to strengthen the clinical preparedness of frontline healthcare providers and enhance their capacity to manage dengue cases effectively.
Dr Syeda Rashida Batool highlighted the importance of applying standardized clinical protocols and ensuring timely assessment and management of suspected dengue patients.
The training also provides healthcare professionals with an opportunity to refresh their knowledge and share experiences regarding dengue case management, particularly during the peak transmission season.
