MALAKAND, Oct 3 (APP)::Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a comprehensive training session on first aid and fire safety for students at Government High School Qaldara in Dargai tehsil here on Saturday.
The initiative aimed to equip young learners with critical life-saving skills and emergency response techniques.
Throughout the session, instructors guided students through essential medical procedures, including bleeding control, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), choking response for obstructed airways, and initial care for bone fractures.
Additionally, the training covered vital fire safety protocols, emphasizing preventive measures, the correct operation of fire extinguishers, and practical approaches to suppressing small fires before they spread. To reinforce learning, hands-on practical exercises were conducted alongside theoretical instruction.
School Principal Sajjad Ali praised Rescue 1122 Malakand training wing for conducting an interactive session. He highlighted importance of empowering students with emergency preparation and said that acquiring such basic first aid and safety skills is vital for protecting lives and handling critical situations effectively.
