DPM/FM Dar emphasises JMC significance in enhancing Pak-Bahrain cooperation

ISLAMABAD, Oct 3 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Saturday, underscored the importance of the Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) in further expanding Pakistan-Bahrain cooperation.
The DPM/FM chaired an inter-ministerial meeting to review preparations for the third session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC), which he would co-chair with his Bahraini counterpart.

Dar further directed the concerned ministries to finalise preparations in close coordination and pursue concrete outcomes from the visit of the Bahraini Foreign Minister next week, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.
The meeting was attended by SAPM Tariq Bajwa, acting foreign secretary, and secretaries and senior officials from all concerned ministries and departments.
The Secretary, Economic Affairs Division, briefed the DPM/FM on the agenda and key areas of bilateral cooperation for the forthcoming session.
