FCCI new leadership takes charge, vows member-focused service and facilitation

FAISALABAD, Oct 02 (APP): The new leadership of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) formally assumed charge, with President FCCI Arif Ehsan Malik pledging to turn the chamber into a more responsive and accessible institution for its members and announcing the establishment of a dedicated facilitation desk to make it easier for visitors to obtain services and resolve their issues.
Senior Vice President FCCI Mian Muhammad Saeed and Vice President Muhammad Yasin also assumed their respective offices whereas business leaders and representatives of various trade and industrial associations visited the chamber throughout the day to congratulate the newly elected office-bearers.
The visitors presented bouquets and garlands to the new leadership and expressed their full support and best wishes for their successful tenure.
Among those who called on the new office-bearers were Faisalabad Dairy Association’s Shabbir Hussain Chawla; Pakistan Textile Exporters Association’s Owais Mukhtar and Kashif Anjum; Faisalabad Dyes and Chemicals Association’s Jawad Shafiq and Shahid Majeed; All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association’s Bao Muhammad Akram, Engineer Ehtisham, Habib Ahmad Gujjar and Mian Aftab Ahmad; Power Looms Owners Association’s Waheed Khaliq Ramay; Foundry Association’s Hajji Muhammad Ataullah; Faisalabad Press Market’s Rafi Sami; All Pakistan Bed Sheets and Upholstery Manufacturers Association’s Mian Imran Mahmood and Muhammad Tayyab; Soap Association’s Shehzad Mushtaq Paracha; Hosiery Association’s Imtiaz Ali; besides Dr Habib Aslam Gaba and Chaudhry Talat Mahmood.
Earlier, FCCI President Arif Ehsan Malik, accompanied by the senior vice president and vice president, met the FCCI staff and emphasized that chamber members were the institution’s real strength.
He directed the staff to treat every person visiting the chamber with utmost respect and courtesy, stressing that the quality of interaction with members was essential to building their confidence in the institution.
The newly elected president thanked the chamber’s leadership and colleagues for their confidence and pledged to make every possible effort to discharge his responsibilities effectively.
He said that the sizeable margin by which he had won the election had raised expectations among the business community, adding that fulfilling those expectations would require collective efforts by the office-bearers, chamber members and staff.
Describing the chamber employees as an integral part of his team, Arif Ehsan Malik said that he would work alongside them to serve the FCCI, Faisalabad city and the country to the best of his ability.
He said that new administration would focus on improving services for members and ensuring that people approaching the chamber could access relevant assistance without unnecessary difficulties.
FCCI President also announced that a special facilitation desk would be established at the chamber to provide greater convenience to visitors and help address their needs more efficiently.
