The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced temporary electricity shutdowns in selected feeders across Islamabad, Attock and GSO circles on October 3 and 4 to facilitate ongoing district development projects, including construction of flyovers and underpasses, road widening, installation of new 11kV feeders and shifting of electricity poles and other power installations.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 02 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced temporary electricity shutdowns in selected feeders across Islamabad, Attock and GSO circles on October 3 and 4 to facilitate ongoing district development projects, including construction of flyovers and underpasses, road widening, installation of new 11kV feeders and shifting of electricity poles and other power installations.
According to the shutdown schedule, on Saturday, October 3, Islamabad Circle feeders including Islamabad Club-1, Islamabad Club-2, Mehfooz Shaheed/Shahzad Town, Filtration Plant, Pindorian, Scheme-2, Orchard Scheme and CDA Pump will remain without power from 8am to 2pm, while Sudhran Feeder will face an interruption from 7am to 2pm.
In the GSO Circle, Line Park, Behkri, Al-Qaim, Sarkal, Mangan, Karyala, Jamal Wal, Millat Chowk, Al-Qadir, KSM Unit-3, Al-Rizwan, PAF, Bhun, Hasil, Nela, Pipli, Balkasa, Kot Chaudhrian, Kasral and Dullah feeders will experience a shutdown from 6am to 9am.
On Sunday, October 4, the same Islamabad Circle feeders will remain affected from 8am to 2pm.
Chatta Bakhtawar, Tramari, CM Pak Zong, Kurri, Rehara, Park Enclave-1, Kund Rajgan, Scheme-1, King Hammad, PHA-1, Isolation Hospital, IT Park and ISI feeders will remain shut from 7am to 2pm.
In Attock Circle, Lala Zar, POF, Munirabad and Karnel Sher Khan feeders will also face power suspension from 7am to 2pm, while the GSO Circle feeders listed in the schedule will remain affected from 6am to 9am.
IESCO said the temporary shutdowns are necessary to enable the timely completion of development works and the safe shifting of power infrastructure.
The company apologised to consumers for the inconvenience and said shutdown schedules are available on its official website and social media platforms.
