Shaheryar Memon leads fuel relief awareness campaign across Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Oct 1 (APP): Focal Person for Overseas Affairs, Business and Trade Linkages Shaheryar Memon led a public awareness campaign at various petrol pumps across Islamabad to inform citizens about the Government of Pakistan’s Fuel Relief Package.

The campaign was carried out under the special directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and under the leadership of Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Chairman Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan, with the objective of ensuring that eligible citizens were aware of the relief measures available to them.

During the campaign, Memon and members of the outreach team visited several petrol stations and interacted with motorcycle riders, rickshaw drivers and small car owners. They briefed motorists about the Fuel Relief Package and explained the available support while responding to their questions about the initiative.
Speaking during the awareness activities, Memon stressed the importance of direct engagement with citizens to ensure that government welfare programmes reached their intended beneficiaries. He said clear and accessible information was essential for enabling people to understand and benefit from relief measures.
The campaign particularly focused on people who depend on motorcycles, rickshaws and small vehicles for daily commuting and livelihoods. By taking the awareness drive directly to petrol pumps, the organizers sought to reach citizens at locations most relevant to fuel-related relief measures.
Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan and Shaheryar Memon emphasized the importance of coordinated public service initiatives aimed at facilitating citizens and extending government support to them at their doorstep.
The campaign concluded with a commitment to continue public awareness and outreach activities to keep citizens informed about government welfare programmes and the facilities available to them.
