Governor discusses KP political situation with ANP, PML leaders

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday held separate meetings with Awami National Party (ANP) leader and former provincial minister Sardar Hussain Babak and Pakistan Muslim League provincial lawmaker Malik Tariq Awan to discuss the prevailing political situation in the province.

PESHAWAR, Oct 01 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday held separate meetings with Awami National Party (ANP) leader and former provincial minister Sardar Hussain Babak and Pakistan Muslim League provincial lawmaker Malik Tariq Awan to discuss the prevailing political situation in the province.
During the meeting with Sardar Hussain Babak at the Governor House, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentary (PPPP)Leader in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Ahmad Kundi was also present. The participants discussed the overall political situation in the province and the concerns expressed by the Awami National Party  (ANP) regarding the prevailing circumstances.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Kundi said all political parties were united in their view that the provincial government had failed to deliver and that its poor governance had pushed the province into serious difficulties.
He stressed that political parties should rise above political differences and play a constructive role in addressing the challenges facing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League Member of the Provincial Assembly Malik Tariq Awan called on the Governor here.
The meeting reviewed the political situation in the province, the role of political parties in the current circumstances, and other matters of mutual interest.
