ATC grants 8-Day physical remand of two PTI workers in Nov 26 protest case

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has handed over two arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) workers here to police on an eight-day physical remand in the November 26 protest case.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 01 (APP): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has handed over two arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) workers here to police on an eight-day physical remand in the November 26 protest case.
Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain issued the order during the previous hearing, where police produced both arrested accused before the court and sought physical remand.
The investigation officer told the court that 20 days of physical remand was required for interrogation of the accused.
The court approved an eight-day physical remand of the accused. It may be noted that a case against PTI leaders and workers is registered at Khanna Police Station.
