LCCI sets up Complaint Cell for prompt resolution of members’ issues

LAHORE, Sep 30 (APP): Newly elected President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Ali Hassam Asghar, here Wednesday established a dedicated Complaint Cell to ensure the prompt and effective resolution of members’ issues, timely redressal of complaints and further improvement in the Chamber’s services.
The purpose of establishing the Complaint Cell is to provide LCCI members with an effective and organized platform where they can directly submit their business, administrative and other issues and complaints to the Chamber management and remain regularly informed about the progress made on their cases.
Members can contact the Complaint Cell through the UAN 111-222-499, extensions 378 and 379, while complaints can also be submitted via email at [email protected].
The Chamber has also introduced an automated system for complaints received through email. As soon as an email complaint is received, the concerned member will automatically be issued a ticket number, enabling the complaint to be identified and its progress to be tracked.
Members will also be regularly updated about the action being taken on their complaints, eliminating the need for them to repeatedly contact different departments of the Chamber to inquire about the status of their requests.
Similarly, members submitting complaints by telephone will have their complaints registered by an LCCI representative and will be provided with a complaint number. They will subsequently be kept informed about the progress made on their complaints.
Speaking on the occasion, newly elected LCCI President Ali Hassam Asghar, Senior Vice President Sardar Usman Ghani, and Vice President Chaudhry Khadim Hussain said that the establishment of the Complaint Cell was an important step towards providing better, faster and more effective services to Chamber members.
They said that resolving members’ issues was among the top priorities of the LCCI and that the entire process, from registration of complaints to their redressal, was being made more organized and transparent.
The LCCI office-bearers said that it was essential to provide members with a clear and dedicated communication mechanism so that every complaint could not only be formally recorded but its progress could also be regularly monitored.
They added that the Complaint Cell would enable members to directly communicate their concerns to the relevant authorities, while the ticketing system would facilitate timely follow-up and monitoring of complaints.
The newly elected office-bearers further said that the Lahore Chamber was making greater use of modern technology to improve facilitation services for the business community and its members. The Complaint Cell, they said, had been designed to make the complaint resolution process faster, more efficient, accountable and transparent.
The LCCI leadership urged members to register their issues and complaints directly through the Complaint Cell so that these could be referred to the relevant departments and timely action could be ensured.
