ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 (APP): Director General National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi met District Police Officer (DPO) Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu and discussed stronger coordination to tackle online fraud, harassment and other cyber crimes.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the meeting discussed the growing challenges of cyber crime and measures needed to prevent such crimes.
Both sides discussed ways to improve cooperation, information sharing and coordination between NCCIA and police to take timely action against those involved in cyber crimes.
The meeting also focused on joint efforts to deal with online fraud and cyber harassment and provide better protection to citizens using digital platforms.
Rizvi said close coordination between NCCIA and police would help make action against cyber criminals more effective.
He stressed the need for continued information sharing and cooperation to meet the growing challenges of cyber crime and protect citizens from online criminal activities.
