Modern education,therapy vital for dignified future of special children:Ali Dar
LAHORE, Sep 30 (APP):Advisor to Chief Minister(CM),Punjab on AI and Special Initiatives,Ali Dar on Wednesday visited the Maryam Nawaz School and Resource Center for Autism and interacted with children,taking part in various activities along with his son Ibrahim.
Ali Dar said the facilities available at the Maryam Nawaz School and Resource Center for Autism were no less than those at any of the best autism centers in the world.
He said establishing quality institutions for the education,rehabilitation and dignified future of special children was an important priority of Chief Minister(CM),Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
The CM’s adviser said providing special children with modern education,quality therapy and a conducive environment was a shared responsibility of society.
He stressed the need to further promote effective systems of education and therapy tailored to the individual needs of children on the autism spectrum.
Ali Dar appreciated the modern facilities and arrangements for the care of children at the autism center.
He also lauded the hard work,dedication and professional performance of its teachers,administration and staff.
He said ensuring opportunities for education,rehabilitation and inclusion was essential to providing special children with a dignified place in society.
He added that modern technology was also being utilized to highlight the abilities of special children and enable them to become active members of society.
Ali Dar said,in line with the vision of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif,equal opportunities were being provided to every child to express their abilities and secure a better future.
Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Special Education Sania Ashiq,Secretary Special Education and other officials were also present on the occasion.
