Pakistan Consulate Jeddah hosts a B2B Networking Event

JEDDAH, Sep 30 (APP):Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq has said relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have entered an exceptional phase rooted in our history, faith, and culture, and above all, the love between our two peoples. While addressing the B2B Networking dinner hosted by the Consulate General of Pakistan, Jeddah, he added that for decades, Pakistan has contributed to the Kingdom’s development and prosperity, and the Kingdom has always stood by Pakistan whenever needed. The leaderships of Pakistan and the Kingdom share the clear ambitions of transforming this relationship into a strong economic partnership. His Excellency, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, have given a clear direction of moving towards trade, investment, and private sector cooperation between the two countries. Agriculture and food security offer one of the most natural partnerships between our two peoples. He also highlighted Pakistan’s diverse range of high-quality and competitively priced food products and their potential for greater penetration in the Saudi market. He reaffirmed the Embassy and Consulate’s commitment to facilitating Pakistani exporters and strengthening business linkages with Saudi counterparts. He also awarded shields to the best businessman.

Earlier, the proceedings started with a recitation of a few verses from Holly Qur’an by Qari Abdul Haseeb. Consul General of Pakistan, Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, welcomed all the guests and emphasized the importance of direct B2B engagement in developing sustainable commercial partnerships between Pakistani exporters and Saudi businesses. Together, Pakistani exhibitors participated in the Saudi Food Show 2026 with leading Saudi buyers, importers and distributors. He said the event was aimed at promoting Pakistan’s Agri-based products in the Kingdom to further strengthen bilateral trade. The event provided a platform for Pakistani companies to showcase their products, explore business partnerships and enhance market access in Saudi Arabia, he added. The Commercial Consular at the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh, Dr. Shaguta Zarin, also addressed the gathering. A large number of Pakistani exhibitors participated in the Saudi Food Show 2026, and leading Saudi buyers, importers, distributors, and media representatives attended the event.
