ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 (APP):Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday returned here after participating in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry received the prime minister upon his return.
During his visit, the prime minister represented Pakistan at the 81st UNGA session where he effectively presented the country’s viewpoint on regional and international matters.
He held important bilateral and multilateral meetings with global leaders and high-ranking officials and highlighted Pakistan’s stance for the promotion of global peace, security, development, and mutual cooperation at the international level.
During the meetings with the representatives of international financial institutions and business figures, Prime Minister Shehbaz discussed the promotion of investment and economic cooperation with Pakistan, citing immense potential and massive institutional and administrative reforms introduced by his government.
