Inspector General of Police Abdul Kareem on Tuesday took notice of the killing of two persons in firing allegedly stemming from a long-standing enmity within the jurisdiction of Bhong Police Station, Rahim Yar Khan.

LAHORE, Sep 29 (APP): Inspector General of Police Abdul Kareem on Tuesday took notice of the killing of two persons in firing allegedly stemming from a long-standing enmity within the jurisdiction of Bhong Police Station, Rahim Yar Khan.

The IGP sought a report from regional police officer (RPO) Bahawalpur and directed district police officer (DPO) Rahim Yar Khan to ensure the immediate arrest of the suspects involved in the firing.

The IGP directed police to utilise all available resources to apprehend the suspects.

According to police spokesperson, senior police officers and forensic teams reached the crime scene and collected evidence.

The deceased were identified as Shah Ali and Wazir Ahmad, added spokesperson.
