The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday sought final arguments in a petition challenging the appointment of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Chairperson Ambreen Jan, after responses from all respondents were submitted before the court.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 29 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday sought final arguments in a petition challenging the appointment of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Chairperson Ambreen Jan, after responses from all respondents were submitted before the court.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the case filed by petitioner Sohail Sajjad Rana, with Advocate Shahid Mahmood Khokhar appearing on his behalf.
Responses from the President’s House, Cabinet Division and Ministry of Information were submitted before the court, along with the response of PEMRA Chairperson Ambreen Jan and other respondents.
After receiving replies from all parties, the court directed the lawyers to present their final arguments at the next hearing.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case until November 25.
