and registered 29 cases during the ongoing drive against electricity theft.
According to a spokesperson on Tuesday raiding teams, authorities caught one pilferer
in the district, booked three consumers in the Shahpur area, and arrested five
while stealing electricity through main power lines and meter tampering.
The spokesman added that strict action, including heavy detection bills and legal
proceedings, would continue across the circle without discrimination to eliminate
power pilferage.
