Lasting peace in South Asia linked with just resolution of Kashmir dispute: Noon
WASHINGTON DC, Sep 29 (APP): Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon on Tuesday stressed that lasting peace in South Asia depended on a just resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, in accordance with the prescribed solution enshrined in the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
Chairman Kashmir Committee, who is visiting the US Capital following engagements at the 81st UN General Assembly, said this in an interactive session with media representatives at the Embassy of Pakistan here, along with Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh.

Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh underscored that the dispute remained firmly entrenched in the United Nations and other international frameworks, and a peaceful resolution was indispensable to regional as well as global peace, security and stability in an increasingly interconnected world.
