KARACHI, Sep 28 (APP): Sindh Senior Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the Sindh government is utilizing all available resources to prevent rabies.
In his message on the occasion of World Rabies Day, he urged the public not to take dog bites or wounds lightly under any circumstances and to get vaccinated immediately.
He said that the Sindh government has formulated a comprehensive strategy to control rabies across the province, and the availability of anti-rabies vaccines has been ensured at government hospitals and Rural Health Centres throughout the province.
Memon said that the Sindh government is adopting modern methods to prevent the spread of rabies, and urged the public to avoid negligence in case of a bite from a dog or any rabid animal.
He said that the Sindh government, in collaboration with medical experts and the public, is striving to make the province free from rabies.
