The public auction of several commercial plots located in residential colonies and commercial markets under the control of the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), along with public utility sites of various sizes designated in 126 private housing schemes, will be held on October 15, 2026, at the FDA Complex.
FDA plots auction to be held on October 15
FAISALABAD, Sep 28 (APP): The public auction of several commercial plots located in residential colonies and commercial markets under the control of the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), along with public utility sites of various sizes designated in 126 private housing schemes, will be held on October 15, 2026, at the FDA Complex.
In this regard, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhary, during which detailed discussions were held on the particulars, locations and other administrative arrangements concerning the commercial plots selected for auction.
The meeting was attended by Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rind, Director Estate Management-I Junaid Hassan Manj and other concerned officers.
The meeting was informed that commercial plots designated for the construction of shops are located in Mohalla Ahmed Nagar, Millat Town, Allama Iqbal Colony and Madina Town.
In addition, shops situated on various floors of FDA-owned Gulistan Plaza at Millat Chowk, Gulistan Colony No.2, will also be offered for rent through the auction.
Furthermore, public utility sites of various sizes, designated for educational and healthcare facilities in 126 private housing schemes would also be offered for sale through public auction.
Reviewing the sizes, locations and other relevant details of the commercial plots being offered for auction, Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhary directed that all arrangements for the auction be made foolproof, transparent and well-organized in every respect to ensure equal opportunities for prospective investors and citizens to participate in the process.
He instructed the concerned officers to widely publicize the auction date, time, terms and conditions, and details of the plots and public utility sites being offered, enabling the maximum number of interested individuals to participate.
He stated that the transparent auction of public properties and commercial assets helps strengthen the Authority’s financial resources and creates new avenues for revenue generation.
He emphasized that merit, transparency, and strict compliance with all rules and regulations must be ensured throughout the auction process.
DG FDA further directed that effective arrangements be made to provide necessary information and guidance to prospective bidders so that the entire process could be completed smoothly and transparently.
