Pakistan secures two bronze medals in squash events of Asian Games
ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP): Pakistan secured two bronze medals in men’s singles individual event at the Victory Ceremony for the Squash Singles and Mixed Doubles events, which concluded at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
Noor Zaman and Muhammad Ashab Irfan received the Bronze Medals at the Official Medal Ceremony at Nagoya Kinjo-Futo Arena, said a press release.
In the 3rd position match, Noor Zaman (PAK) beat Muhammad Ashab Irfan (PAK) 3-0 (11-7, 11-7, 13-11), 26min. The team events will start from Monday.
Pakistan Men’s Team has been 2nd seeded and placed in Pool B, while Pakistan Women’s Team are seeded 9th and placed in Group B (Pool B).
Monday, Men’s Team – Pool B: Pakistan vs Philippines – 12pm JST/8am PKT – Court 2; Pakistan vs Kuwait – 05:30 PM JST/1:30 pm PKT – Court 2.
Women’s Team-Pool B: Pakistan vs Hong Kong, China – 10am JST/6am PKT – Court 5, Nagoya Kinjo-Futo Arena; Pakistan vs Mongolia – 3:30pm JST/11:30 am PKT – Court 2, Nagoya Kinjo-Futo Arena.
