SSP Operations calls for better policing through lady officers’ expertise

RAWALPINDI, Sep 27 (APP): On the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera, SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob held a meeting with lady police officers at Police Headquarters here on Sunday.

DSP Administration Shahida Yasmeen and lady police officers from across the district attended the meeting.

SSP Operations directed officers to ensure timely resolution of women’s complaints at the police station level, saying addressing issues faced by women was a top priority.

He said lady officers with expertise in driving, computers and modern technology could play an important role in improving policing and service delivery.

He appreciated the performance of lady police officers deployed on special duties and directed them to continue playing an active role in further improving policing and public service.

Malik Tariq Mehboob said, in accordance with the directions of the CPO, better facilities were being ensured for lady police officers at their duty points. He said women were performing their responsibilities effectively alongside men in every field of life.

All officers would work as one team and perform their duties with dedication and professionalism, he added.
