ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP): Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has paid tribute to the security forces for their successful operations against terrorist elements in Balochistan, describing the elimination of more than 71 terrorists in Operation Shaban and other areas of the province as a significant achievement.
The Chairman said the successful operations reflected the professionalism, courage and operational preparedness of the security forces, while the clearance of terrorist hideouts was an important step towards ensuring peace and stability in Balochistan.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani emphasized that action against terrorists and their facilitators must continue with full resolve, stressing that countering foreign-backed terrorism was essential for Pakistan’s national security.
He said the nation would always honour the sacrifices of the security forces’ martyrs and ghazis. He also commended all officers and personnel involved in the successful operations and paid tribute to the martyrs for their supreme sacrifices.
