In a message issued on World Tourism Day, the authority said the picturesque lakes, lush green mountains, River Kunhar and other natural landscapes of Kaghan Valley were a shared national heritage that required collective efforts for their protection.

The KDA urged tourists and visitors to keep the valley clean, dispose of waste in designated dustbins, comply with local laws and promote responsible tourism practices.

It said that responsible behavior by visitors could help make Kaghan Valley cleaner, safer and more attractive for tourists.
