On the special direction of the Punjab government, a four-member special medical board has been constituted at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) to ensure the provision of quality medical treatment to prominent comedian Muhammad Siddique, popularly known as Abid Charlie.

LAHORE, Sep 27 (APP): On the special direction of the Punjab government, a four-member special medical board has been constituted at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) to ensure the provision of quality medical treatment to prominent comedian Muhammad Siddique, popularly known as Abid Charlie.
LGH Medical Superintendent Professor Dr Faryad Hussain said this while discussing the treatment of the renowned comedian on Sunday. He said artists were a valuable asset and all available medical resources were being utilized to ensure Abid Charlie’s early
recovery.
Prof Dr Shandana Tariq has been appointed chairperson of the special medical board, while Prof Dr Javed Asghar Magsi, Dr Taiba Saleem and Dr Rashid Imran are its members.
Prof Faryad Hussain said health professionals were working round the clock to provide Abid Charlie with quality healthcare. He said the medical board was continuously monitoring the patient’s condition as he remained under treatment in Medical Unit-II/High Dependency Unit (HDU).
He added that the treatment of the renowned artist was continuing under the supervision of the high-level medical board.
