IGP Sohail pushes SIPS reforms, inspects Shalimar, Secretariat, Kohsar police stations
ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP): Inspector General of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry visited Shalimar, Secretariat and Kohsar police stations to review development work under the Smart Integrated Police Station (SIPS) initiative, facilities for police personnel and services being provided to citizens.
An official told APP on Sunday that the IGP Sohail first visited Shalimar Police Station, where he inspected ongoing development work and checked facilities available for police officers and citizens.
He directed the concerned officers to complete the work according to the required standards and ensure better and timely services for citizens.
Later at night, Sohail Chaudhry visited Secretariat Police Station, where he reviewed development work being carried out under SIPS protocols and inspected facilities for police personnel and the public.
The IGP Sohail directed officers to complete the remaining work according to the set standards and ensure that citizens visiting the police station were provided with easier and better services.
Sohail also visited Kohsar Police Station, where he inspected ongoing development work, facilities for police officers and services available to citizens under SIPS protocols.
He said improvements at police stations should make it easier for citizens to get police services and also provide a better working environment for police personnel.
The IGP directed the concerned officers to closely monitor the ongoing work and complete it on time without compromising on quality.
